“The Difference Between Coolsculpting® vs. Tru Sculpting” – A sponsored post written by me (a CosmetiCare Ambassador) on behalf of CosmetiCare.
One of the areas I’ve been pretty self conscious about is my chin. Two years ago I had Kybella at CosmetiCare. I had some amazing results, but with additional weight gain, I have noticed my chin still sags. I had a consultation with Rosie, and she recommended targeting my double chin with one of their sculpting options. I had heard of both cool sculpting and tru sculpting, but wasn’t sure which would give me the results I wanted on my second chin.
Coolsculpting®:
Cool sculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment used to reduce fat cell volume by freezing. A cool sculpting technician uses a wand like tool on the specified area to reduce the temperature of the fat cells to +5 to -11 °C. This freezing method reduces fat deposits, which reshapes the contours of the body or specific area.
Tru Sculpting:
Tru sculpting is also a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses radiofrequency heat to reduce the fat cell volume. A technician uses a wand like tool on the specified area to heat the targeted area, also reducing fat deposits, which reshapes the contours of the body or specific area.
The Difference:
The big difference is that one uses heat, while the other uses a cooling method. Both are designed to reduce fat sells and help with body contouring, but in my research, I have found that Tru Sculpting is for targeting areas on the body from the shoulders and down.
No Surgery Needed:
What I like most about choosing either of these two treatments is that surgery is not required. A typical treatment can last between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Then you’re right back to your daily activities. There is no down time.
Who are good candidates:
It is always recommended to speak with someone from CosmetiCare’s team of professionals to see which procedure is the best fit for you. When speaking with Rosie about my options, she felt that cool sculpting would be a great fit for my chin. We also discussed my torso, as I am in need of a little refining there as well. Typically results from cool sculpting on stomach and hips are for individuals who are near, or within 15 pounds of their goal weight. Unfortunately, I’m not quite ready to target that area yet, as I have a lot of work to do in that area.
What’s next:
Well, I’m scheduled and ready for my first cool sculpting treatment this month for my double chin. I’ll share my results with you soon.

What 8sthe difference between coolsculpting and trusculpt for double chin?
Coolsculpting is very cold, a burning cold. Trusculpt is the opposite and very hot.
