With my daughter studying to be a Prima Ballerina, I was thrilled to hear that the American Ballet Theatre will be returning to Segerstrom Center. They will be premiering an all new production of the classic ballet – The Sleeping Beauty March 3 – 8.

The American Ballet’s return to Orange County from March 3 – 8 marks the company’s 23rd visit to the Center. Pacific Symphony will perform the beloved score by Tchaikovsky. Sets and costumes are by Tony Award®-winning designer Richard Hudson.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to introduce my daughter to a true treat: her first ballet – Mikhailovsky Ballet: The Flames of Paris St. Petersberg, Russia when they toured through Southern California at Segerstrom Center.

As a dance mom, I’ve really enjoyed watching my little budding ballerina learn her technique and improve week to week. Giving her the opportunity to experience the magic of dance and ballet in the theater as a true fan of the art was just amazing.

Segerstrom Center Offers Mikhailovsky Ballet: The Flames of Paris | @SegerstromArts

As a dance mom, I’ve really enjoyed watching my little budding ballerina learn her technique and improve week to week. However, I haven’t had the opportunity to take her to her first official ballet until now. Mikhailovsky Ballet: The Flames of Paris will be at Segerstrom Hall November 28 – 30, 2014.

Manxmouse is a lovable, one of a kind mouse – without a tail. This adorable little guy will enchant the little ones with his bright blue fur, huge rabbit ears and amazing confidence and bravery. Based on the novel Manxmouse by Paul Gallico, Theatergroep Kwatta performs the delightful tale of Manxmouse: The Mouse Who Knew No Fear, making its North American debut at Segerstrom Center for the Arts October 18 & 19 in Samueli Theater.

Segerstrom Center’s Family Series – Still Awake Still, Feb 8/9 | @SegerstromArts

Segerstrom Center invites children and adults to their Family Series with the West Coast premiere of Still Awake Still, February 8 at 1 PM and February 9 at 1pm, 3:30pm at the Samueli Theater.
