Do the kids need to burn off a little energy after a day of school, or hanging out at home on Fortnite? Sky Zone, Westminster offers healthy, safe and affordable fun. This Sky Zone location recently added new features and wall-to-wall aerial action including a warrior course, wipe out, zip line, sky joust and an arcade section that is included with admission.
After a crazy long week of homework, studying and tests, I decided to surprise my kids and a couple of their friends with a visit to Sky Zone Westminster to check out the new additions.
The kids discovered the Warped wall and had to see if they could conquer the tricky curved incline. One of the boys was able to master it on the first try, while the others had to make repeat attempts to make it to the top.
It was actually hard to keep up with the kids – 4 of them, going in all different directions. Two of them ran over to the zipline, while the others wanted to check out Wipe out.
I don’t know what I was thinking when I agreed to throw on a pair of Sky Zone socks and partake in the trampoline fun. I mean, I’m now over 40, and it takes me a little longer to recover from activities like an afternoon of trampoline fun. However, when my friend, Alice, asked me to go on Wipe Out with her – I gladly agreed.
Wipe Out, really looks easy. It is a stand in the center of trampolines that are broken into sections or triangles. The stand holds two beams that are opposite each other, and spin around. The object of the “game” is to either jump over, or go under the beams. The beam, randomly swings one way, then will change direction in a split second.
All I have to say is that thankfully, the beams are soft, so when you hit them, or land on them, it doesn’t hurt. In the end, you will be laughing so hard, and exhausted from jumping, crawling and dodging.
Perfect for my jumper party of 4, the Sky Joust was quite the challenge. My warriors and their friends battled each other several times to see who was left standing – quite a hard task.
If you’re up for a challenge, the Warrior Course is something out of America Ninja Warrior. Obviously, I’m not at all coordinated enough to even get through one of the obstacles on the course, however my daughter sailed right through.
Included with the price of admission, the unlimited use of the arcade games. This had my kids jumping for joy. Sky is the limit on basketball, car races, and more, it was seriously hard to tear our gamers away at the end of our session.
