Who loves the Fresh Beats? You know, Nickelodeon’s Emmy Award winning music that gets the kids up and dancing…Will be visiting City National Grove of Anaheim on Monday, February 16th and tickets are now on sale.
The Fresh Beat Band will debut their new stage show the week of February 16th as part of their nationwide concert tour traveling to 40 cities.
With the coming of the new year, most people start off with the resolution to lose weight, exercise and eat healthy. Del Taco has made this just a little bit easier with the their new Jennie-O Turkey items: The Turkey Taco, Turkey Combo Burrito and Turkey Crunchtada Tostada.
You may recall that Del Taco had previously launched the turkey taco, however, they’ve created a new and improved version that includes Jennie-O proprietary lean seasoned ground turkey. I had the opportunity to sample the new and improved turkey taco, and I have to admit that I loved it!

Yesterday we had a monster sized lesson with Menace from Monster Jam. Kids from Anaheim Achieves, and after school program at Maxwell Elementary school in the Magnolia School District in Anaheim, were able to a sneak peak at one of the giant monster trucks that will be appearing at Monster Jam.

Today, my mom and I went to Knott’s Berry Farm to celebrate the partnership between Knott’s Berry Farm and the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For the second year in a row, they are teaming up to raise money for breast cancer awareness by offering a special “Pink Ticket” (starting January 5th) and limited edition specially designed “pink” merchandise from January 10 through March 27.
The big game is coming!! Are you ready to party and celebrate the BIG GAME on February 1st? I am not a huge football fan because the big bowl game always fell on my birthday when I was growing up. However, I am a fan of Farrell’s and love their specialty burgers. Get ready to get your Gridiron Grub on with their new Tailgate Burger and 4th and Goal Sundae.
We were invited to sample the new Gridiron Grub menu specials at our local Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour in Buena Park, and let me tell you, it’s something you’re going to have to taste for yourself.
With us hunkered up at home the first week of winter break, we decided to have a family fun New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm. It was a great way to get them out in the sun, burn off a little energy and spend some quality time outdoors.
Last year we attended the family fun New Year’s Eve festivities at Knott’s and had a an awesome time, so it was an absolute perfect way to celebrate an amazing 2014.
I’m back!!! Did you miss me? I decided to take a Winter Break for myself and step away from the computer. It was a much needed vacation until we all fell ill. I was particularly excited and overjoyed that I spent Christmas in bed with the flu. Thankfully my hubby took over and prepared an amazing day for all of us. Once we finally were back amongst the healthy, it was time for fun! For the holidays, my mother-in-law requested one thing – Kinky Boots. I thought she was going a little mad – since when was she “Kinky” and where and I’m going to get these “Kinky Boots”. That was, until I heard that Kinky Boots was an amazing performance at Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
Thanks to our friends at Segerstrom Center, we got to enjoy the show opening night, but you can still get tickets through January 11th if you act fast!
