Legoland Park is kicking off this year’s “Brick or Treat” celebration presented by Shutterfly on October 4 with another attempt at the world record.
LEGOLAND California’s Brick-or-Treat is San Diego’s largest kids Halloween celebration. Every weekend in October (Oct. 5 & 6,12 & 13, 19 & 20, 26 and 27), children 12 and under can trick-or-treat on the new ten-station Brick-or-Treat trail gathering goodies, tasty treats and other surprises.

Tips On Helping Youngsters Feel Comfortable Visiting The Elderly
In the last year, my grandmother moved into a lovely assisted living facility not too far away. I try to visit her regularly so she can get out, do a little shopping or visit while out at lunch. Occasionally, I bring my little ones to visit and help their Great Grandmother with her errands, but we usually don’t stay long at the facility. In the beginning, like most toddlers, they were a little uncomfortable in that environment.

Having a “Girly Girl” in the house, we’re usually off playing dollies or tea party, so last week, we were “over the moon” excited to be invited to a Tea Party at Casey’s Cupcakes.
Casey is well known for her delightfully delicious cupcakes that became famous due to her win on the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” in 2011 with her four winning flavors: white chocolate cherry, white Russian, chili chocolate and lavender.

Over the weekend we had a chance to attend Disney Live. We were so excited a couple of our favorite Disney Jr. characters were touring through Los Angeles and Orange County: Princess Sophia and Jake from Jake and The Neverland Pirates.
