Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to host a LeapReader Party with some of our friends.

We had a chance to do our annual visit to Irvine Park Railroad’s 8th annual Pumpkin Patch over the weekend.
The Pumpkin Patch is located in Locomotive Loop and Miner’s Meadow just behind the train station. Thousands of pumpkins, in all shapes and sizes, fill Locomotive Loop. All ghouls and goblins are sure to find the perfect pumpkin!
On Thursday, September 19th, we celebrated national “Talk Like a Pirate Day with a pirate party where we danced like pirates, stomped our boots in a pirate parade, listened to pirate-themed stories and practiced gross motor skills by walking the plank. Pretend City is all about having fun in an interactive learning environment.
It’s now October and bugs have invaded Irvine! Bright and busy bugs have filled Pretend City Children’s Museum and have made their creepy, crawly way over to the museum’s craggy cave, grassy meadow and frightful farm shed.
If you’re a car enthusiast like my Handsome Boy, then make your way on down to the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend (October 3 – 6, 2013) to check out the latest and greatest on four wheels at the OC Auto Show. Thursday night we had a chance to get early access to the showroom floor.
October is full of spooky fun at the Santa Ana Zoo. Guests are invited to enjoy a family friendly evening of spooktacular fun. This costumed extravaganza will bring fun and safe trick-or-treating in a “merry not scary” Zoo atmosphere.
