Recently my mom moved to Las Vegas from here in Southern California. I thought she was a bit crazy for moving away from this beautiful California weather, and her absolutely adorable grandkids, but since we travel to Vegas a couple of times of the year, maybe it won’t be so bad. The nice thing, my mom and stepdad are discovering some really great places to visit in Las Vegas, especially fun places to take the grandkids, like Waffles Cafe.
Last week, we were invited to Sno Biggie to sample their “Sno Ball”. Have you ever had one? Sno Biggie in Los Alamitos offers New Orleans Style Sno-Balls, Ice Cream, and other Sweet Treats.
A Sno Ball is a snow cone, also known as shaved ice. At Sno Biggie, you have the option of over 30 different flavors to choose from. Better yet, mix and match them!!!

Last week a few blogger friends and I had the opportunity to check out the new Summer menu at Islands. I know you’ve been there, Islands Burgers is a delicious burger joint with the Hawaiian Island theme. To celebrate the season, they have added a few items you need to check out!
In my family, pizza seems to be the go to meal, especially with the Princess. If we let her, she’d have a cheese pizza every day.
