We absolutely love everything about How To Train Your Dragon. I recall my son being very young (about 3 years old) when it first came out, afraid of Toothless because he thought he was so scary. Now he is a HUGE fan of the movies and tv series and is really excited that How To Train Your Dragon 2 is out on Blu-Ray/DVD today.

The second chapter of the epic HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON trilogy is available on Blu-ray DVD as of today.
With my kiddos being school aged, it has been fun watching them develop friendships. However, I have already seen and heard about drama starting between the kids in Kindergarten. I have had several talks with my kinder about how to be a great friend, and now with the Infinite Smile Project, we are on kindness and the inclusion of all in her “Friendship Team”.

The Infinite Smile Project was developed to spread joy and happiness. It is wonderful to encourage youngsters from the age of 3 to high school aged children to get involved with kindness and acts of service in our communities.
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for MedImmune, helping spread awareness of RSV Prevention and Awareness in Preemies. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
With World Prematurity Day coming up on November 17th, I got to thinking about 7 years ago when my little man was born. When I was pregnant with him, things got a little scary. At 28 weeks pregnant, I was diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia and put on bed rest. At 33 weeks, my doctor decided to start weekly fetal monitoring to keep an eye on my little man, however since my blood pressure wouldn’t come down during the monitoring, they decided to admit me.

Once we hit the month of November, it’s time time to start thinking about our annual holiday cards we send off to family and friends. This year, I’ve already picked out coordinating outfits for the kiddos, but before I shoot the pictures, I wanted to check out the card options for setting, style and photography ideas. I’ve noticed a few friends have been sharing their love for Minted holiday cards via social media channels, which prompted me to take a peek myself.

Minted has an amazing selection of beautiful cards for all occasions. Their holiday and Christmas card selection is just incredible. So many different styles, themes, layouts and graphics, I ended up really liking a couple of different ones.
Back on October 25th, we were delighted to attend The Pumpkin Glow at the Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, CA. It featured carved and sculpted pumpkins, creating an amazing, illuminated outdoor pumpkin artwork display, setting a Guinness World Record.

Thousands of glowing pumpkins, carved by the community were displayed side by side in wire racks that made a beautiful glowing maze around Pavillion Park in Irvine.
My big guy just loves the How To Train Your Dragon series like so many boys his age. With the anticipation of the movie being released to Blu-Ray/DVD this coming Tuesday (Nov 11th), I thought it was only fitting to plan a Dragons 2 Movie Night at home.

During the week, we’re extra busy running from sports activity to the next, so I decided to start planning our family movie night in advance. First goal – make it simple, but fun, using only items we actually have on hand.

Next week, I’m jazzed that my mom will be in town. Since she moved to Las Vegas a couple of years ago, we don’t get many girlie nights together. So, with her in town, I’m planning on surprising her with a night out at Segerstrom Hall for the opening of PIPPIN on November 11th.

Pippin has finally returned to Broadway since it was live on stage 40 years ago. It is the story of a young prince who is on a journey to find some meaning in his life. When he comes to a cross road, he must choose between a simple, happy life or a life with 15 minutes of fame.
For the month of November, Pretend City is celebrating with the Fall Farm Festival.

November takes us back to the farm at Pretend City, getting us ready for warm pumpkins, pecans, corn, and sweet potatoes. Children will have the opportunity to learn about delicious fall foods, cultural traditions, plant life-cycles, farm trucks, and so much more! So get ready for this barnyard blast!
Here in Southern California, it seems as there is a party every other weekend, if not every weekend. I’m noticing a trend with more and more parties at fun, “family friendly” locations throughout Orange County. In particular, families are opting for easy party planning at venues like Scooter’s Jungle.

We recently attended a birthday party at the Scooter’s Jungle in Placentia, and had an awesome time.
