Its summertime and I have been having a rough time finding cute, comfortable shoes to show off my summertime pedicure. I have had the same pair of flip flops for years – they have a little wedge, and a little bling; and they just broke! Thankfully, I was approached by my friends at Vionic, who contacted me about awesome new comfortable summer sandals that are now available.
The sea jellies have taken over the Aquarium of the Pacific with the new exhibit that opened last week have with new exhibits and programs.
Did you know that jellies do not have a heart, brain or lungs? These creatures, made up of 95% water and some with quite a sting. Now you can explore many different species through new exhibits, educational programs, films and more. There is even a touch tank featuring the beautiful moon jellies.
Today, Walt Disney releases their new action packed family movie, Tomorrowland. We were delighted to have a chance to see Disney’s newest science fiction film this week before it opened to the public.
Disney’s Tomorrowland takes you to a world where all inventions are possible, another time and place in the real world.
My daughter is a dreamer. She dreams of dancing, dreams of singing, drawing, anything to do with the arts. Naturally, anything having to do with any form of ballet, she eagerly wants to get involved. So naturally, when I was invited to review the book, Rosabella, I figured she’d love the book, which I was quite right!
Last week, The Kraken Queen was released at Knott’s Berry farm in the newest spectacular interactive 4-D ride; Voyage to the Iron Reef™. I was excited to take my dad and my munchkins as we were one of the first to ride aboard a submarine inspired ride and cruised through the Iron Reef using freeze rays to shoot the Kraken Queen’s army of sea creatures while we battled it out for the highest scores.
Excited about the new ride, I met my dad for a morning of fun as we were invited to the sneak peek media event for Knott’s Voyage to the Iron Reef. It was certainly a great way to spend a father/daughter day – celebrating Knott’s newest addition to the amusement park.
