Book Review: Luca Lashes, An iPad App and Interactive Story
My kids are highly addicted to the iPad. Heck, I am too. I really enjoy my social addiction, while the kids, handsome boy in particular is addicted to any racing game he can get his hands on. However I do make them use these gadgets for learning as well. We all really enjoy reading stories together as a family, and love finding new stories, especially interactive ones to download.
I was recently contacted about a book review on Luca Lashes, an interactive book series that is based on a boy with magic eyelashes that give him special brave powers.
We had the opportunity to download two of the books. The first, “Luca Lashes and his Trip To The Nursing Home”.

Sometimes it’s just great to have a night out, you know, just the boys. We’re so busy with work, school and life, that we don’t have many chances to do something with just us. When we were asked to attend the advanced screening of The Lone Ranger, we were like, “Heck Yeah”!

Do you remember when you were in your late teens, early 20’s thinking about the future trying to figure out where your life was headed? It’s kinda funny thinking back to “the plan” I set for myself when I was younger. I recall being in high school, thinking I’d get married at 25, have a baby at 26-27, a great job and the white picket fence and all. While dating, as we all do, I examined all those relationships, the long and short – what did I get out of it, was that person the one? Did I just destroy my chance at the “Happily Ever After”?

This summer Yogurtland will introduce 6 delicious Looney Tunes inspired flavors with character from July 8 – Sept. 15. Timber Mountain Log Ride, A Toddler’s Perspective @knotts
Back in May, I was invited to get a sneak peak behind the scenes of the Timber Mountain Log Ride, one of the oldest log flume rides in the country; right here in Buena Park, CA at Knott’s Berry Farm.
With the anticipation of the re-opening of the ride, I have been telling my family about it. When we received an invitation to the family media day, the kids were running around jumping up and down.
