When I was a kid, I LOVED everything Strawberry Shortcake! I had the bedding, curtains, dolls and even halloween costume with the plastic face (yeah, remember those?)
One of my favorite things as a kid was grabbing my favorite bowl of cereal on a Saturday morning and plopping down in front of the tv to catch the next episode of The Smurfs. In all honesty, I wanted to be Smurfette because she was just so adorable, fun, and the only girl with hundreds of boys!
I was so excited this weekend to share one of my favorite childhood memories with my children with The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow.
Throw back to 1981, the days of Aquanet, big hair and neon fashion; the time when The Nintendo Gaming System and Donkey Kong took over household entertainment.
Now you can reminisce about those good ol’ days and share a bit of your childhood fun with your youngsters.

Since I’ve started Toddler Trails, I’ve had some fun opportunities for the family. With Disney’s Planes opening tomorrow, we were invited to a pre-screening of the movie in 3D, so The Hubster and I decided to keep this one a secret from the kids.
Anyone in your family fans of How To Train Your Dragon? Debuting on July 23 Dragons Riders of Berk will be available in a two part DVD pack. Loaded with exciting bonus content for the whole family to enjoy, disc one will contain episodes 1-11 and disc two will feature episodes 12-20. Sometimes it’s just great to have a night out, you know, just the boys. We’re so busy with work, school and life, that we don’t have many chances to do something with just us. When we were asked to attend the advanced screening of The Lone Ranger, we were like, “Heck Yeah”!

Do you remember when you were in your late teens, early 20’s thinking about the future trying to figure out where your life was headed? It’s kinda funny thinking back to “the plan” I set for myself when I was younger. I recall being in high school, thinking I’d get married at 25, have a baby at 26-27, a great job and the white picket fence and all. While dating, as we all do, I examined all those relationships, the long and short – what did I get out of it, was that person the one? Did I just destroy my chance at the “Happily Ever After”?
