It Was A Wild And Crazy Busy Halloween

I’m sure like for all, Halloween was a crazy fun day.  We started off with a bang when we got to school and there was absolutely NO parking.  Rather than dropping off, many parents were hanging around for the Halloween Parade.

Halloween Parade

At 8am, right when the bell rang, we were off.  Since my Handsome Boy is in Kindergarten, their classes were first.  They stopped off at their classroom to drop off their backpacks and belongings and headed around the building into the quad area.  In a semi-single file line (have you ever tried to get Kindergartners to stay in a straight line?) they marched around campus, showing off their unique costumes.

Family Friendly Halloween Movie Giveaway | @FHEInsiders @DWAnimation

A Halloween tradition The Hubster and I started back when we were dating was passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters while watching a scary horror movie in the dark.  Now that we have little ones, many of the scary movies being shown really aren’t family friendly. As a parent, I want to make sure I select the right shows or movies to share with my youngsters that won’t leave them going to bed scared or waking up with nightmares.
