Killing zombies has always been a fantasy of mine, even if I can only do it in my mind or vicariously through characters on certain television shows. While I do find myself living out these little scenarios more so around Halloween, I have never really been able to scratch my proverbial zombie killing itch…until now. Since we’ve only been in school for about 6 weeks now, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for my princess to get to know a couple of her classmates a little better, since we’ve been discussing having a playdate since school started. There were a couple of girls from class that I had in mind because I knew they had older siblings and also had to wait an hour and a half before their pick up time.

We were recently introduced to a new hit children’s animated series that is already well known in Canada, Toopy and Binoo™. It is the adventures of Toopy, a tall, funny and friendly mouse, and his best friend Binoo, a tiny, clever and lovable white cat.

I was checking through email one afternoon from a PR agency and Toppy and Binoo filled the screen. My princess ran over to the office to check out what Mom had discovered, and just like that, I was kicked off the computer as she immersed herself in the show.
