Now that the Road Trip is over, and I’ve shared the story, I have a couple of things still left to do with regards to the trip. One is create a memory book with the 1,000 plus photos (yes a little overboard) I took, and the second thing I wanted to do was create some personalized artwork to hang up in the RV to remember our inaugural trip. I found the perfect wall piece that I could personalize with photos and a little creativity from Ink Garden.
We have been traveling a lot this summer in our “home away from home” Willey Mobile, so naturally I’m going a little nuts at how such a small space can get so dirty! Imagine my delight when I received two Big Green Swiffer Boxes on my doorstep.
With our new Swiffer products, I decided that it was time to recruit the kids. They are at the perfect age to learn the importance of cleaning, and Swiffer makes it easy.
With all of the activities the kids are involved in, I really try to keep a container of hand sanitizer on hand. The problem, the containers are usually bulky, or if they’re attached to the outside of my purse, they simply get in the way. Now that we’re at the end of July, it’s getting hot!!! We’re spending more and more days poolside or hanging out at the beach just to keep cool. Thanks to Coppertone, I’m keeping my babies protected from the harmful rays.

One of the sights that was a MUST for us to tour while on our two week long road trip was see the Legendary Hearst Castle in San Simeon.
One of California’s State Parks, this beautiful castle is set upon a hill top overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In 1919, William Randolph Hearst, a newspaper publisher, decided to build his dream home on the land he loved to play on as a child. He hired Julia Morgan to build him a “Ranch at San Simeon” which took approximately 28 years to build. This beautiful estate contains a vast collection of fine art and antiques that are on display.
