If so, on Saturday, March 15th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m the OC Parks, Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen, California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Angler Chronicles will be hosting the annual Kid’s Fishing Derby at the North Lake at Mile Square Regional Park.
Kids ages 15 and under fish for FREE at the Fishing Derby and compete to win multiple prizes for finalists and champions in different age groups. The lake will be stocked with more than 1000 pounds of trout just for the derby. Fishing clinics will be hosted throughout the event.
