My 6 year old absolutely LOVES reading. So much so that I constantly browse the Scholastic Book Order several times every month. I was invited to check out a couple of new books from Disney Publishing Worldwide, and I jumped on the chance to introduce Handsome Boy to some new titles: Motor Dog and One Busy Day.

Calling all dinosaur fans!!! On March 25th, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and BBC Earth Films will be releasing Walking with Dinosaurs The Movie on DVD, an awe-inspiring adventure 70 million years in the making, now stomping in just in time for Spring.

Dino fans of all ages will be ‘herding” to get their own copy of Walking With Dinosaurs The Movie, releasing on Blu-ray™ and DVD March 25.
March 15th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m spend St. Patrick’s Day with your favorite animals! OC Parks welcomes families to celebrate with the animals of the OC Zoo.

Do your youngsters love the outdoors and fishing? If so, on Saturday, March 15th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m the OC Parks, Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen, California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Angler Chronicles will be hosting the annual Kid’s Fishing Derby at the North Lake at Mile Square Regional Park.

Kids ages 15 and under fish for FREE at the Fishing Derby and compete to win multiple prizes for finalists and champions in different age groups. The lake will be stocked with more than 1000 pounds of trout just for the derby. Fishing clinics will be hosted throughout the event.
Spring is in the air and this year! It’s been a rather warm winter, which has been rather nice, but I really love Spring time. The flowers are in bloom, the weather is just perfect and The Easter Bunny visits Irvine Park Railroad.

On Saturday, March 29th through Saturday, April 19th, Irvine Park Railroad will hold its annual Easter Eggstravaganza. I guess it’s time to start planning the kids Spring Pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Disney on Ice is back in an all new show produced by Feld Entertainment. Tickets are now on sale for Disney On Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic. With more than 65 of Disney’s beloved characters from 18 of our favorite Disney Movies, this is one show not to miss.

Living in Southern California, and literally less than 10 minutes from Knott’s Berry Farm, we tend to visit a lot. If you’re a local like we are, then I feel like having Season Passes are well worth it. We certainly have created some special memories with Snoopy and his buddies and absolutely LOVE Knott’s! Here are our top 5:
#1 – Spending Time With Grandparents AND Santa: The Grandparents loved having the opportunity to spend some “family fun time” with the kiddos, especially taking this adorable photos with Santa!

I think my little man has issues with getting filthy dirty. It must be my fault! I constantly wiped him up whenever he had something on his face or hands when he was a baby. Last night we had ribs for dinner and Handsome Boy couldn’t fathom eating meat off of the bone, let alone getting his fingers dirty while eating. The Princess – well, she just gobbled it up, getting barbeque sauce everywhere. Neat Cheeks came to the rescue, cleaning her up with ease, without irritating her face.
