Second Screen Live has developed an iPad app to download that links up with the movie, enabling you to compete against your friends and family while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas.
On Monday, after school, we raced on over to Downtown Disney to our local AMC Theater with our iPads to catch an afternoon showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas. We had been to The Little Mermaid screening a month ago, so we knew what to expect! We turned on our iPads and followed the on screen directions to select a “Team”: Team Jack or Team Oogie Boogie. Once the movie started, we were transformed into the interactive world of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This time The Hubster was able to join us in on the fun. We were so excited to start the competition!!! It was my handsome boy and I against my princess and The Hubster. I have to tell you, it was certainly funny when the Hubster yelled out a WRONG answer and handsome boy selected it, then he retaliated with selecting the WRONG answer on their board so they didn’t get any points. Seriously, who taught him that????
You know, I have only watched this movie a handful of times. I must say, the karaoke part where they give you the words to the song is my favorite – now I know what they were saying! HAHA. This is new movie technology that will sure to be a big hit with families! I can’t wait to see what’s up for Disney and Second Screen Live.
