17 years married, 24 years together. It has simply 17 years married, 24 years together. It has simply flown by since our special day. Happiness was finding each other and sharing this world together. The life we have created for ourselves has been a beautiful journey of laughter, basketball, softball, and travel. Throw in a couple of mini me's who have danced and and ran the bases of our hearts, completing our little family. I love you more than words Willey. Cheers to the amazing memories to come. Happy Anniversary.

Have you visited the Pro Shop Pizzeria at Knott's Have you visited the Pro Shop Pizzeria at Knott's Berry Farm? As a KBF fan, I highly recommend it. This new dining hot spot offers theme park guests an Italian Kitchen, cafeteria style.

The new quick-service Italian eatery is located along Knott's Memory Lane next to the Walter Knott Theater and across from the Wheeler Dealer Bumper Cars.

Once in line, you will discover there are a few options available with the "All Season Dining Plan". From the Pasta Bar, choose your pasta, sauce and topping. I elected for penne pasta with a mix of alfreso and bolognese sauce and topped it with vegetables. Then I mixed the sauces together and it was absolutely fabulous.

You can also order a slice of pizza with a side salad with the dining plan. Additionally all options are available for purchase separately. The pepperoni stromboli was pretty delicious too.

Their dessert bar was stocked with so many tempting sweets like tiramisu, cannoli, cakes, cheese cakes and more.

The beverage bar consisted of a selection of beer on tap or bottle, daiquiri style cocktails, coffee, and hot chocolate along with their traditional soda machine selections.

If you are in the park, don't forget to stop in and check out the Pro Shop Pizzeria. It is also a great place to rest your tired feet because there is a lot of seating.

Have you heard the awesome news from @chocwalk & @ Have you heard the awesome news from @chocwalk & @chocfoundation? They want to raise as much support as possible for the children and families of CHOC, so they just adjusted the fundraising levels, including the minimum amount to attend CHOC Adventure in the Park on August 27th, 2022.

Now you only have to raise $200 (instead of the previous $250) before the 8/20 deadline for your ticket to this year's event. Plus, they have lowered the amounts of the fundraising levels for the prizes!

There is still time to register as the deadline is August 20th at 6:00pm. All you have to do is visit CHOCWalk.org and pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 registration fee to reserve your spot.

Remember, this exclusive event looks a little different this year. Rather than a walk around the park, on August 27th, guests will mix in with theme park guests starting at 5pm and continue on with a private party for CHOC supporters from 9pm to midnight at California Adventure. That means you'll have access to the theme park's attractions, shows, swag, photo ops, and so much more.

Last week we were craving ice cream, and hubby sug Last week we were craving ice cream, and hubby suggested we tried a new location he heard about in Garden Grove. @sweetrolledtacos was founded in 2017 by a set of brothers. They set out to craft unique ice cream and drinks.

Each ice cream taco or bowl is made with premium cream and your favorite toppings, chopped and blended together to to create a tasty treat.

My family LOVED their ice cream creations. They had tacos and bowls of the rolled ice cream. I, on the other hand selected a fruity tea, that was a little on the bitter side for me. Next time I will stick to the tacos.

Have you tried Sweet Rolled Tacos? If yiu have, what is your favorite combination?

We disembarked the Norwegian Bliss we decided to t We disembarked the Norwegian Bliss we decided to take a final excursion through the city of Seattle, Washington since our plane did not leave until later in the afternoon.

We were delighted to find out that the cruiseline and the airport had a special program where they automatically take your luggage to the airport and check it in. We jumped on this opportunity so we were luggage free while we toured a few of Seattle's many iconic landmarks.

First stop was the Space Needle. So excited to actually jump on the elevator to the top, despite our fear of heights. We also braved the floor where we could walk out on the class lookout points in the floor.

We stopped at Pike's Place Market to see the flying fish and grab a bite to eat and a fre souvenirs.

Out guides pointed out a bunch of landmarks, including China Town, the local stadiums, and the numerous Amazion corporate buildings.

Once our tour was finished, they dropped us off at the airport for our return flight home. I would have to say, despite the expense, it was totally worth the opportunity to take in some of the sights of Seattle, rather than sitting around for hours, waiting for our plane.

Our Alaskan cruise took is to Victoria, British Co Our Alaskan cruise took is to Victoria, British Columbia-Canada. This city was so beautiful with the many flowers decorating the waterfront walkways.

We wandered the city by foot from the port. We were excited to discover that it was the 90th anniversary of Deuce Days. Along the Hotel Grand Pacific, the streets were lined with hundreds of hot rods. Proud owners had their collectible cars on display, either parked or cruising the waterfront streets. It was really awesome to see.

Since we only had a few hours to visit, we just shopped, got a quick bite to eat, then headed back to the Norwegian Bliss.

Spent the day at the Disneyland Resort with friend Spent the day at the Disneyland Resort with friends yesterday and loved Cocina Cucamonga. Their Al Pastor Tacos were my favorite with pineapple-achiote marinated pork and the jalapeño garlic salsa.

The Tacos Dorados de Papa were a little bit smaller and served crispy with the cabbage slaw and crema tomatillo salsa.

Their peach Margarita was the perfect refresher on a hot day.

Ketchikan, Alaska is the state's south-eastern mos Ketchikan, Alaska is the state's south-eastern most major settlement. It is also a part of the Tongass National Forrest, with a population of a little over 8,000, many of which are Tlingit natives.

This area is known for its climate. It pretty much rains all the time with hugh humidity.

At this port my husband was really excited to check out the Great Alaskan Lumberjack show. The lumberjacks talked about Alaska's logging history and competed against eachother, showcasing their strenghth and agility chopping stumps, sawing disks and climbing.

Then we spent time in town wandering the shops before returning to the ship.

Icy Strait Point is Alaska Native owned-and-operat Icy Strait Point is Alaska Native owned-and-operated, with all profits directly supporting the community of Hoonah, Alaska’s largest Native Tlingit village. It is on the Chichagoff Island and is home to more brown bears than humans. You'll find majestic bald eagles soaring overhead and whales are regularly seen just offshore.

At this port during our Alaskan cruise aboard the Norwegian Bliss, we took a jeep excursion where we cruised through the Tongass National Forrest. We were excited to see so many bald eagles, a mama bear and her cubs, a tiny crab and so many salmon jumping in the lake.

When we returned the jeep, we took the skyway (gondola) to the small seaside town where The Crab House resides and had a fantastic Crab Bloody Mary, I shared earlier in my IG posts.

Howz your summer? We are enjoying our nights home Howz your summer? We are enjoying our nights home together, dinner as a family rather than everyone running off in different directions and having to thrown in a quick meal on the go.

Tonight it was chicken tacos for the win.
Our next port during our Alaska cruise with Norweg Our next port during our Alaska cruise with Norwegian was Juneau. With a population of over 32,000 was named the capital of Alaska in 1906, after being moved from Sitka.

Our plan for Juneau was a shore excursion by the cruiseline. We had many ideas of what we wanted to see and do while in Juneau, but tip for future cruisers, if you see an excursion you like, jump on it. The more popular ones sell quickly.

That being said, we ended up reserving a trip to the Mendenhall Glacier and a local Salmon Fish Hatchery.

The Mendenhall Glacier is located in Mendenhall Valley and is about 12 miles from downtown Juneau. This glacier is considered a retreating glacier because it is getting smaller due to warming temperatures. With its retreat, the Mendenhall Lake has formed as a result of the runoff. We walked along ehe edges of the lake to a picturesque waterfall nearby.

The Macaulay Salmon Hatchery was a unique place to see. It was originally built in 1976 in the Macauly's backyard, then moved to one of Joe Juneau's original gold mine adits and has grown in size there. The goal of the salmon hatchery was to increase the population of salmon in the area. We learned so much about the proccess of incubation of salmon eggs to the salmon returning yearly in July by swimming up the fish ladder to spawn.

The rest of the afternoon we spent wandering downtown Juneau checking out jewelry and souvenir shops. Our next trip back, dogsledding is a must!

Our Norwegian Cruise aboard the Bliss took us to o Our Norwegian Cruise aboard the Bliss took us to our first port of Sitka, Alaska. It is a small little island community with a population of about 8,569. The Tlingit people have lived in this area for over 10,000 years and you can see and experience their culture and art walking through the town and historical areas.

We decided to explore Sitka on our own, walking down the main street, through the shops, taking in the town.

That day, Sitka was overcast and rainy, however that didn't stop us. Wandering through town, we St. Michael's Orthodox Cathedral and Sitka High School that has roughly 316 9th-12th graders.

We discovered Sitka has a National Historical Park, a Sound Science Center that was undergoing some improvements, a Raptor Center that rehabilitates and releases injured birds and Fortress of The Bear, a rescue center for orphaned brown bear cubs. Our goal was to visit the Historical Park and the Raptor center, which was about a mile away from town.

Along the walking trail, the Sitka National Historical Park hosts a beautiful collection of Haida and Tlingit totem poles. There was one in the beginning stages of carving on display. We didn't venture into the museum because we forgot to bring face masks (still required for state buildings) but got to see many along the trail.

We made it to the Raptor Center and were very impressed with the beautiful bald eagles on display. There were enclosures that housed 3 of these gorgeous birds that were being rehabilitated. We also saw several different types of owls as well.

Tip: arriving in Sitka by cruiseline, you walk up the docks to a transportation hub where you pick up free shuttles to town, or meet tour guides. There is a good sized souvenir store right at the dock if you are not up to going into town.

Have you ever been on an Alaskan Cruise? We just g Have you ever been on an Alaskan Cruise? We just got back and it was a blast.
This cruise we traveled with Norwegian Cruiselines.

What we loved about the ship:

❤ race track - as many times as we could, we raced on the double decker speedway.
❤️ freestyle dining – meaning you can eat when ever you want
❤️ packages that were included with our cruiseline deal like the drink package, credits on the excursions, Hubby and I had two meals each in specialty dining, which are al a cart restaurants. If the kids went with us, we just had to pay extra. The Tepenyaki was fantastic.
❤️ Jersey Boys and Six - musicals onboard
❤️ gambling (do not have casino on Disney)
❤️ they had a teen club, but our teens were not interested. They spent most of their time together. Then time with us.
❤️ bowling
❤️ arcade
❤️ game shows. Hubby was picked to play Deal or No Deal while my daughter and I were watching SIX.

We are definitely fans of the @norwegiancruiseline. Dining when WE want to was a plus.

Posts from the ports coming up next!

My dance mom friends and I jumped on the San Diego My dance mom friends and I jumped on the San Diego Taco Tour while we were in San Diego last week.

We toured coastal San Diego and stopped at three of the city's most delicious taco locations, while enjoying the beautiful scenery in Barrio Logan, Point Loma, Ocean Beach, and Little Italy.

Our first stop was @saludtacos in Barrio Logan where I tried the Barrio and their Al Pastor; the Barrio being my favorite. They also have a great selection of cocktails of which I had their Hooch Horchata.

The next stop was @mikestacoclub in Ocean Beach. At this location I haf their Spicy Shrimp Taco and the Scallop Taco. Both, equally as good and paired with their spiked agua fresca.

Our final destination was Little Italy. The intent was to sample dishes at Not Not Tacos, but by then, we were full an on the search for Ice Cream. @saltandstraw did not disappoint.

If you are in the area, I recommend taking the tour. Luke is quite knowledgeable of the area and some of the nearby history, abd we had a blast.
