We were recently invited to a media tasting at Stax Cookie Bar in Irvine to get the scoop on this awesome new concept. Imagine, being able to personalize your own cookie sandwich. Choose your favorite daily fresh backed cookies with your pick of ice cream along with any toppings you select. It’s quite amazing!

When we walked into Stax Cookie Bar, I think my husband’s jaw dropped. He LOVES ice cream sandwiches, and with just looking at the menu, he declared that Stax was his new favorite cookie creation.

He selected two different cookies: chocolate – chocolate chip, and chocolate chip with coffee ice cream. Then for an extra twist, he added resse’s pieces and candy sprinkles. For him – pure bliss!

 

For my princess, she wasn’t quite in the ice cream cookie mood, especially when she noticed rainbow shaved ice. All she wanted was something “pretty”, in her words. Her choice ended up being shaved ice with cherry, mango and green apple. And as usual, we can tell how much she like it, by how much she was wearing.

And for me, I HAD to order a Smookie! A smookie is a cookie, warmed up with your choice of chocolate over the top, along with your favorite toppings. For my smookie, I chose a warm peanut butter cookie with reese’s peanut butter cups on it, butter pecan ice cream (my favorite) drizzled with caramel. It was sinful it was so good. My poor family – I didn’t share!

Stax Cookie Bar uses certified organic flour and other natural ingredients in their desserts and have gluten free and vegan options available for dietary restrictions.
Another option you may consider – The  “Affogato” with fresh espresso poured over ice cream, Sundaes, Milkshakes, Malts, Stax blend brewed Coffee, and Organic Milk. Sounds perfect for an afternoon pick me up.
