Olympic Torch Run Relay at Pretend City

Have you taken your family to Pretend City in Irvine yet?  It is a favorite spot for our munchkins.  With a mini city center, that includes a Fire Station, Grocery Store, Post Office, Cafe, Theater and a park this is loads of fun for toddlers.  They also have a mini beach to play in the sand and soak in some florescent rays.  Harvest vegetables from the imaginary garden, or get a feel for what it is to build or plumb a house, Pretend City is a great place to let the imagination soar.

 

This Friday, Pretend City will be doing an Olympic Torch Run Relay through their city center.  What a great way to introduce your youngsters to the history and fun of the Games than through a live interactive Olympic activities.  

 

Pretend City will be opening their newest exhibit in conjunction with the Olympic festivities : Daphne’s California Greek (reflecting the Greek heritage of the Olympics).  They will be giving away free food samples.
