Back to entertain families for the 5th year, EEK! At The Greek! featuring Symphony In The Glen takes place on Saturday, October 24 at the Greek Theatre, LA. This year, actor, Armin Shimerman (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will join Maestro Rubinstein and the orchestra to narrate Edgar Allen Poe’s Gothic masterpiece, “The Tell-Tale Heart.”
This wonderful family event is presented by Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and features the 60-piece Symphony In The Glen
Orchestra with Maestro Arthur B. Rubinstein will present a creepy collection of frightening favorites, plus a Trick-Or-Treat
Village in the plaza prior to the performance.
This year, EEK! At The Greek guests will be treated to
- Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries”
- “Ghost Riders in The Sky” with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles
- John Williams’s “The Devil’s Dance” from The Witches of Eastwick
- Actor, Armin Shimerman narrating Edgar Allen Poe’s Gothic masterpiece, “The Tell-Tale Heart.”
You may recognize actor, Armin Shimerman who is best known to television audiences as Quark, on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Be sure the little ones are dressed for the occasion as EEK! At The Greek! will also feature a “Trick-or-Treat Village,” in the Greek’s plaza. The kids will have fun in a safe trick-or-treating environment along with Halloween activities from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Some of the activities include:
- Arts & crafts
- Face painting
- Costume contest (4:30pm)
- Lots more!
