I remember running around the house as a kid listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks on my Barbie record player. Gosh, I guess I’m dating myself, aren’t I? Well, Alvin and the Chipmunks, an absolute favorite of the entire family is amazingly back in the spotlight. My kids have been introduced to the…through the “Happy Meal”. Gotta love all those toys. And, when I was asked if I’d like to receive a review copy, I jumped on it!
The Chipmunks, Chipettes and their caretaker Dave Sevelle (Jason Lee; “My Name is Earl”) embark on a trip of a lifetime aboard the Carnival Dream cruise ship. Alvin starts off the movie with his usual mischef, and gets all of the chipmunks as well as Dave in the mayhem as well. They end up overboard and “Chipwrecked” on a remote island, having to figure out a way to survive.
This family fun DVD is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. It certainly makes a great gift for the family, just in time for Easter!

I liked Alvin and the Chipmunks and i have liked toddler trails for a long time. If my family could go anywhere it would have to be fun for an 11 year old and a 4 year old and both boys. I always thought anything Nickelodeon would be a blast and we sooooo need a vacation and some fun.
