One of our favorite places to grab a great burger and then some is , which is our next stop on our Blogaversary Giveaway tour. Originating at the location in Balboa on the pier in 1982, Ruby’s Diner has quickly become a favorite with locals now in operation of over 27 locations in Southern California.
We love to catch a bite at Ruby’s Diner quite often, since our local Ruby’s is about 15 minutes from our house. The hubster typically orders one of their newer burgers like the Cobb Burger that has a thick slice of bacon, tomato, blue cheese and avocado and pair it with some Cajun fries.
For me, I have an item that I love, but it is no longer on the menu. However, at Ruby’s Diner, they are great about keeping their customers happy, and will whip up my favorite fish tacos whenever I ask for them.
For the kiddos, its typically the Macaroni and Cheese with either fruit or French fries.

Mint chip shake
My boys would get their chocolate shakes, and I will get the Classic Ruby’s burger. Love that they have kids eat free on Tues.
