When I was a kid, one of my favorite times of the year was back to school shopping with my mom and brother. We would generally get it all done in one day, approximately five outfits, pair of shoes and all the school supplies we’d need. Now that my kids are reaching the school years, the tradition continues, but with The Children’s Place!
Last week we were invited to the Farmers Market Children’s Place in Los Angeles to check out the Fall collection. I figured it was certainly time to start our “Back To School” shopping tradition, so I took them out of summer school for the event.
First stop – girls section. As usual, the Princess comes first. For girls this fall, The Children’s Place has added a splash of leopard. My princess absolutely loved this hat, especially since it matched her dress from our Spring shop. I just loved the layers on the leopard print blouse.
Princess really doesn’t like heavy jean material, so these jeggings are the perfect option for her. With such a large selection at $12, I was ready to grab one in every color!
The Children’s Place makes shopping convenient with a great selection of backpacks for both boys and girls.
Don’t forget accessories for the girls! Many of which are on sale right now. For instance, these cowgirl hats are currently $2.99, and the sunglasses are actually $0.99! What a steal!
For boys, cargos and layering are in for the Fall. They have quite a large selection of cargo pants in various colors to coordinate with graphic print t-shirts and plaid button ups.
Toddlers will be styling for preschool with licensed character t’s, that are sure to make them fast friends.
If your youngsters are required to wear uniforms, don’t fret! The Children’s Place also has uniforms available in the store and on-line year round!
