It’s not often that I talk about him, one because he gets very embarassed, and I’m not sure if he even really loves me to share what he’s up to, but since it’s Father’s Day, I felt it was quite appropriate dedicate a post just to my hubby.

It’s amazing to think that we’ve been together now for 16 years. And we have a wonderful life dedicated to our kiddos, our family and our softball family.
You’ve been following along with all the fun things we do, celebrations we share and milestones we reach, but I’ve never really had a chance to share about my partner – the behind the scenes support to me and Toddler Trails.
While I’m off at events, helping in classrooms, or helping out at little league or dance, my hubby is on the field with his girls. He is the softball coach at Savanna High. Each year, as the roster has grown, we’ve added more and more girls to our “family”, many of which I’m still in touch with.
This year marked several HUGE milestones for the Lady Rebels and The Hubster. This was the first in 20 years that they made it to the semi-final round of CIF. At that last win, I saw my usually calm, composed hubby jump about 4 feet into the air. It was such a thrill to see him, his staff and the girls celebrate this win. Then we were off to Redlands for Semi-Finals.
At the CIF Semi Finals, the ended their run, proud of what they had accomplished. They had broken through that Quarter Final barrier and made Coach and all proud.

With the end of the season comes the banquet and achievement announcements. After coming home from the League Meeting, I found out my hubster was named Coach of The Year by the coaches in his league, along with the team receiving the Sportsmanship Award. Then we get a call from our friend Carlos at OCSidelines.com – “Coach Of The Year”.
Happy and honored by all the achivements, we were stunned when we received a call a few days later that my hubby was selected as “Orange County Softball Coach Of The Year“.
To my handsome husband, I just wanted to let you know that you are my rock. I’m so proud of you for all of your career accomplishments and goals, but most of all, for being such an awesome father to our munchkins. With all the time you spend at work, on the field, you put just as much time and love into us. Taking over when I am running off to an event, or even just making sure we’re all together for a dance class, practice or family function. You just “make it happen”. We love you! Happy Father’s Day
I hope that he enjoyed with day yesterday. My boys went to the local baseball game with their dad and gran gran yesterday. My youngest came back singing and dancing. 🙂
