I have been so busy with the family being back to school, that I finally took a day for myself. Today, I decided to do some of the things I haven’t had a chance to do, like deep clean, washing sheets and towels, and finally enjoy a little mom time watching Book Club. Now available via streaming and on Blu-Ray DVD, hailed as “pure comedy gold” (Andrew Freund, Dish Nation-FOX TV) and “fifty shades of great” (Pete Hammond, Deadline), Book Club was exactly the “chick flick” I needed on a day like today.
A light hearted movie, Book Club is now available on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD from Paramount Home Media Distribution. Starring legendary actresses Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen, BOOK CLUB follows four lifelong friends whose with established professional lives, are turned upside down to hilarious ends when their book club attempts to shake things up by tackling the infamous “Fifty Shades of Grey.” One of my favorite parts of the movie is that the ladies continued their close relationship, getting together monthly to hang out, discuss the latest book they were reading and just catching up on life. The movie takes you from the ladies discovering new romance to rekindling old flames, they inspire each other to make their next chapter the best chapter. The film also stars Andy Garcia, Don Johnson, Craig T. Nelson, Richard Dreyfuss and Ed Begley Jr.
