Product Review: The HipS-sister | @hipssisterUS

Remember the days of the fanny pack? Well, I must be dating myself, because I love the convenience of hip/butt bag to stow a few essential items while on the go. Now there is a new, stylish way to hold your small personal items – The hipS-sister.

Sonia Kanner, mom of three and sports enthusiast, decided to create a modern day fanny pack based on necessity and convenience. The idea started with a basic color and design and has now turned into a fashion accessory.

Whether it’s a night out, running a few errands, or going for a jog; there are just times that I don’t want to lug around my big bulky purse. The hipS-sister is perfect for carrying a few of the necessities like id, credit cards, car keys and most importantly a cell phone.

HipsSister

The hipS-sister comes in a variety of colors and sizes (xs, s/m, m/l and plus). The best part is that you can personalize them, brand them and more. Imagine going out on the town with your significant other or friends – match your hipS-sister with your outfit for a trendy layered look, hiding your id, lipstick and cell phone.

The turquoise hipS-Sister (pictured above) is called the Left Coast Sister. With one fabric color, it was designed as a fitness accessory to take on a jog or any activity. As with all hipS-sisters, it comes with a front secret top loading pocket ideal for your phone or iPod. It also has both a front and a back zippered 5″ pocket for all your other small personal items. It is made with 90% micropoly and 10% lycra so it comfortably stretches for a perfect fit.

Even my princess is loving her Lil sister, and is now matching her outfits with her trendy new accessory. Since it also comes in x-small, it is perfect for girls ages 6-12.

And with the holidays right around the corner (I know you’re already starting to think about gifts like I am…) this makes a great gift idea or stocking stuffer.
