After school today we visited Tanaka Farms. Have you heard? In celebration of their collaboration with Hello Kitty, Tanaka Farms has transformed into a farming holiday wonderland. Weekends from now through December 17th, enjoy the cutest Holiday destination with a Holiday Santa tractor tour, a hilltop “Sanrio Village”, crafts and activities, tree hunting and shopping in the Holiday Market Stand.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the 30-acre farm via tractor, and learn about and taste the seasonal vegetables growing at the farm – AND visit Santa and Sanrio friends at “Sanrio Village.” Arts, crafts and other Holiday activities will take place at the Holiday Market Stand. The wagon tour will stop at the hilltop “Sanrio Village”, decorated with holiday cheer, the perfect photo opportunity with Hello Kitty and her friends – including Santa himself. Guests who purchase the holiday wagon tour will also receive a limited edition Sanrio button and holiday crown upon entry.
Special Event Alert: Tanaka Farms will be hosting their annual Holiday Boutique on December 2nd from 10am-3pm. There will be Sanrio surprise bags on sale as part of the boutique and special appearances throughout the day from Hello Kitty from 10:00am – 1:00pm. In order to attend the event, registration is required to secure a FREE parking pass from Tanaka Farms. Entry to the Holiday Market is free of charge.
While you’re there, pick up limited edition Sanrio/Tanaka Farms festive sweatshirts, t-shirts baseball hats, totes, holiday decorations and your very own Christmas Tree.
If you’re planning on attending, join in the spirit of giving back this holiday season. Tanaka Farms and Sanrio are encouraging guests to bring a canned food item that will be donated to South County Outreach. Guests who bring a can will receive a free mini Hello Kitty storybook.
