It’s that time of the year again! Santa is coming to town, and bringing Christmas Trees to Irvine Park Railroad!
This year the festivities are just getting bigger and merrier at Irvine Park Railroad. On Friday, November 29th, The Christmas Tree Ranch will open. Wander through the Party Pavillion next to the train station, and pick out your family’s “perfect” tree for 2014. Choose among Douglas Fir, Noble Fir and Grand Fir trees ranging from 4″ to 12″.
The Christmas Tree Ranch will be open daily from 10:00am – 8:00pm daily through December 23rd. Christmas tree stands, preservatives, tree disposal bags, wreaths and garlands will also be available for sale.
Santa is coming to town for the annual family tradition: The Christmas Train, that departs nightly beginning November 28th to the North Pole. The train will depart from the train station every 15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased for specific dates and time, ONLINE ONLY now: TICKETS
The Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train is open on the following dates:

While you’re waiting for your train departure time, or making a decision on the perfect Christmas tree, Santa’s Village will be hosting activities for families to enjoy including:
- Storytime with Mrs. Claus
- Christmas Cookie Decorating
- Carnival Games
- Ice Fishing
- Santa Claus Moon Bounce
- Christmas Coloring Corner
- Picture Stands
Santa’s Village will only be open weekends Nov 29 – Dec 14th. Activities will be open daily as of Dec 15 – Dec23.
When you arrive at the North Pole, The Elf House Snack Bar offers coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, hot pretzels and cookies while wait to visit Santa.
*Tip: Be sure to dress warmly and bring a camera for those perfect photos with Santa. Souvenir 5″x7″ photos of your time with Santa will be available for purchase.
