Last week, I got together with a few of my blogger friends in support of a great cause – No Kid Hungry. Did you know that 1 in 5 kids don’t get the food they need? It’s such a sad situation, but we can help. Right now, Denny’s and many other local restaurants are teaming by raising funds to end childhood hunger.
My friend Mary from LetsPlayOC.com, an blogger ambassador for Denny’s, help kick off the No Kid Hungry Campaign with a few of our blogger friends. Starting off the morning with a few friends, a pancake bar, and supporting a great cause was an awesome reason to get together.
Help us support this great cause. Now through Oct. 12th in their 5th annual fundraising efforts, nearly 1,600 Denny’s restaurants nationwide have jumped on board in the fight against childhood hunger. (To date, Denny’s restaurants have donated $2.3 million, which is estimated to have provided 23 million meals to kids in need across the country!)
Visit your local Denny’s because you’ll notice that right now they are ORANGE in support of the No Kid Hungry campaign. Do your part to help get rid of childhood hunger by donating $3 to the cause. With your $3 donation, you will receive $9 wort of coupons for Denny’s favorites, redeemable at participating locations. I think this is a wonderful cause! I support the cause because I can remember going through school especially in my elementary days and having friends that would cry because they were hungry and their parents couldn’t feed them at night…it was and is still so sad :(. No child should ever have to be hungry.

I just love Denny’s and I just love this cause.
This is a good organization because no kid in America should go hungry since we have so many resources!
I like this causes and others similar to this one, there is a backpack program that’s offered here that sends kids home on the weekend with some snacks and juices for them and sometimes 1 other sibling that they may have at home and no access to food.
