The Aquarium of the Pacific has been invited by Conservation International to take a lead role in public education and outreach for the Pacific Rising project. The mission of Pacific Rising is to help prepare residents of many Pacific Island nations to adapt and thrive—economically, environmentally, and culturally—in the face of climate change and sea level rise. The residents of many of these islands will have to find new homes because their islands will be drowned by the end of this century. The Aquarium of the Pacific will provide educational programming to its visitors to draw awareness to this crisis facing many Pacific Islanders, and help to secure funding for them.

With coupon adults receive $10 OFF admission on June 3 or 4.

  1. My boys love the Aquarium of the Pacific! Their favorite exhibit is the ? shark lagoon ? and being able to touch sharks and sting rays!!

  2. I love how the Aquarium always has something new and different to add (even if it’s just for a weekend or short period) and that it is often culturally educational too.
