Fighting Germs with Mothers Therapy Organic Hand Sanitizers & Giveaway | @MothersTherapy

Lately the weather has been a little up and down.  In the morning it’s 48 degrees and by noon it is jumping to 80+.  This crazy weather is making our skin really dry!

Recently I was contacted by Mother’s Therapy Organics™.  A woman-owned company that pledges to use safe, natural and organic ingredients in all of their products made specifically for children in mind.  They offer hand sanitizers, “Germ Fight’n” hand lotion and a soothing baby lotion.

Hand Sanitizer:

The Mother’s Therapy Organic Hand Sanitizer is made of aloe vera, Echinacea, goldseal and lavender oil.  Because of it’s 99.9% germ-kill ratio and just as importantly for kids, it’s quick-dry properties, they use natural alcohol as the active ingredient in their Kids Hand Sanitizer.

Contrary to popular belief, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer can leave skin softer than before use. What I liked most is that this non-greasy hand sanitizer doesn’t dry out your hands because it leaves behind a skin-softening aloe vera-based lotion that absorbs into the skin.

Most hand sanitizers I come across have that alcohol scent – not the Mother’s Therapy Organic Hand Sanitizer, it has a wonderful cucumber scent, one of my favorites!

Germ Fight’n  Hand Lotion:

As the Room Mom in my son’s Kindergarten classroom, I’m assisting the teacher a lot.  In fact, I’m in the classroom minimum of twice a week.  With all the germs floating around, it’s nice to have the Germ Fight’n lotion on hand to keep me healthy, clean and moisturized.

The natural lemon essential oils and extracts power through germs naturally while soothing aloe vera encourages multiple daily use. The alcohol-free clean smell and non-greasy formula is water-based and not thick like some lotions that stick to the top of skin.

Baby Lotion:

Have a newborn?  A baby’s skin is especially susceptible to absorption. It’s therefore essential that what you place on your baby’s skin will not damage the cells which are just building!

Mother’s Therapy Organics™ Baby Lotion is the natural alternative to rubs or creams that often do skin more harm than good. The non-greasy lotion is made of aloe vera, palm oil, chamomile and shea butter which maintains the delicate balance found in babies skin  while offering a relaxing sensation that soothes sensitive areas.

Now when I’m out and about, I like to have a travel or convenient size of hand sanitizer in my purse or in my car.  I recall being at the mall in the play space or at a bounce location and on the way out, have forgotten to sanitize.  It is nice to have a smaller container with you for those instances you need a quick cleaning.  Thanks to my friends at Mother’s Therapy Organics, I’m giving away a family pack of “on the go” hand sanitizers.

  1. At a brunch over this past weekend I dropped m y daughter off at a friends place to play while I dropped by the ladies brunch for a bit and all the kids at the friends place noses were runny. I wanted to actually dip my daughter in a sanitizer when I picked her up…lol!

  2. I recently took my 2 month old to work to introduce her to my co-workers. Someone immediately grabbed her little hands and it was like a horror movie in slow motion…”Noooo…!! Did you use hand sanitizer??!!” I tried to ask in my most calmly drakes out voice. Of course, they had not. I was then scrambling today a wipe out of my diaper bag while trying to keep her freshly-germ-infested little hands out of her mouth.

If only I had hand sanitizer handy. SMH.

  3. We could’ve used hand sanitizer when we were in Walmart (the anti-Target) and there were no wipes left in the container….ugh! Walmart is the breeding ground for petrie dish specimen! Bleh! *Says the Target devotee.* 😉

  4. I always want to wash my hands or use hand sanitizer after touching shopping carts. I usually don’t because I am too busy with the kids.
