Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament takes you back to the days of kings, princess and chivalrous knights. A great family dinner adventure, this dinner and tournament features sword fighting, jousting, beautiful stallions and more.
I’ve recently had the opportunity to experience Medieval Times with my family during their Valentine’s Dinner Package as well as a night out with just the girls. Both were equally fun as we enjoyed a great meal, cocktails and fabulous entertainment.
I truly love watching the fancy footwork of the beautiful horses as they make their way through the tournament stadium. The artistry of their trots, tricks and jumps fascinates me every time.
In a previous experience at Medieval Times, we learned that the knights practice daily for several hours before a show. Each move carefully choreographed so that none of the performers are hurt during the live show. They are quite the actors as their performances are so believable, my son is mesmerized during each segment of the tournament games. We actually have to remind him to eat while watching.
For dinner, they serve a magical feast of roasted chicken (a.k.a. baby dragon), potatoes, tomato bisque soup and more followed by delicious pastry makes this a truly great evening. Do you have special dietary restrictions? Medieval Times offers a vegetarian dish that I truly enjoyed. They served a pot of rice, vegetables and beans along side of hummus, pita bread and vegetables.
