Over the weekend we had the opportunity to experience Circus Vargas with the kiddos while they are performing in Irvine at Irvine Spectrum.
Circus Vargas entertains kids of all ages with Magikaria Extreme currently running through May 19th in Irvine – Orange County.
The kids were speachless while watching the performers dangle from fabric ropes, create amazing shapes with their bodies while laughing with the comedy that went along with the show.
The skit along with the trampoline performance was quite comical. The performers looked like they were having a blast flipping, twisting and jumping so high.
My handsome boy was truly amazed while watching one of the performers run and balance on this crazy contraption – even jumping rope at the top. Serious balance so he doesn’t fall off!
When I was a kid, I recall going to Hawaii and getting a set of what were then called poi balls. Soft balls on the end of the rope that we swung around, pretending to be performers. At Circus Vargas Magikaria Extreme the two performers below swung what appeared to be poi balls, but when they crashed on the floor, they made a percussion sound – not a soft material. Actually, quite dangerous. I was incredibly impressed they had long hair and it didn’t get all wrapped up and tangled – such a mom thing, I know!
