With today’s youth, we’ve discovered that giving back and volunteerism helps make more rounded, responsible and compassionate individuals. In the past, we’ve introduced helping out homeless or underprivileged families during the holidays, and especially on Family Volunteer Day which is Saturday, November 21st.
Family Volunteer Day is a day where families are encouraged to help out in their local communities. This year, Disney Friends For Change are working with generation on and recruiting families across the country for the 25th annual Family Family Volunteer Day on Saturday, November 21st to launch the holiday season of giving and service.
We are excited about doing our part. Our local Little League’s fields tend to attract rodents, trash and millions and millions of leaves during our “off season”. We’re looking forward to getting the kids and friends together to clean up this family park/facility and work to keep it clean for the upcoming season.
