As a Knott’s Ambassador, I’m so excited to share the newest food festival hosted at Knott’s Berry Farm – Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween. While many of us enjoy Scary Farm and Spooky Farm, the Taste of Fall-O-Ween gives us the flavors of the season, set in the ambiance of what Knott’s does best – the spooky fun! The event takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, September 25th through November 1st.
The spirit of Halloween comes to life with a cornucopia of Harvest and Halloween décor that will transform the park for the season. This is your chance to enjoy the fun, dressed up in your most festive costumes to experience one-of-a-kind themed food and treats, exclusive event merchandise including specialty items from local crafters, an all-new “Into the Fog” art show with over 45 new art pieces celebrating the scary season, and so much more.
With the kids in mind, Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween features a junior tasting card where young guests will have an opportunity to stroll through the Halloween themed Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Hershey, loaded with multiple treat stations and special spooky decorations. All Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween activities will be conducted at a safe and socially distant space for the whole family to enjoy.
Just like Knott’s Berry Farm’s previous food festivals, The Taste of Fall-O-Ween offers socially distanced experience for all guests. When you enter the park, all guests have their temperature screened. Knott’s team members are on hand to quickly clean and sanitize tables as soon as guests move on to their next tasting treat. Social distancing markers are along walkways and food lines. Hand sanitizing stations and hand washing stations are everywhere you turn, and guests as well as employees are required to wear face coverings while in the park (with the exception of when guests are eating).
My best tip of Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween, is to come hungry, and take a peek at the food offerings before you visit. We print out the food list and each family member highlights the items that are on top of their tasting list. Then we start at the a unanimous item and indulge in the deliciousness. If you just read through the food and location lists, did you notice their ode to many of the Knott’s Scary Farm Attractions of the past? Several of the booths have include names of Scary Farm mazes. And if you’re looking to walk down the Scary Farm memory lane, make sure you stop in at Cordy’s Corner. There you’ll find “Into the Fog” art show with over 45 new art pieces celebrating the scary season along with some iconic Scary Farm merchandise.
Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween will take place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 25 – Nov. 1. You must purchase a tasting card in advance at knotts.com (required for event entry). Hours: Fridays and Saturdays 12pm -9pm and Sundays 12pm to 8pm. Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are $35 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $20 (plus tax) and include three tastings plus a trip through the Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail. Tasting cards are date specific and must be purchased online at knotts.com or through the Knott’s Berry Farm mobile app prior to the date selected.
