When I was a kid, I recall watching Disney’s Dumbo with my family. In “Dumbo,” struggling circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children to care for a newborn elephant whose over-sized ears make him a laughing stock. The kids discover that Dumbo can fly and the circus makes an incredible comeback. However, a sinister entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, spectacular, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland.
