A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. In our classroom we showered our Kindergarten teacher with flowers, special notes, favorite snacks and treats, but Wall Pops really have great teacher gifts.
We were given the opportunity to sample a couple of Wall Pop products, which are a premier line of peel and stick wall art designed to aid teachers in the classroom.
In our classroom, most of the walls are covered with fabric that we use push pins to pin up pictures and artwork. However, the smart board, dry erase board, easel and metal cabinets are the perfect surfaces for these clings. Wipe down the surface to make sure it is clean, peel and stick and they are ready to use. One issue we noticed was that the wall art had a crease in it and didn’t go away once it was on the wall. Tip: be sure to store them flat to prevent creases.
The Learn To Write Chalkboard was perfect in our classroom. Equipped with smart boards, it is rare to find a chalkboard in current modern classrooms. Dotted lines help to guide youngsters as they are learning to write their letters. The packaging came with two pieces of chalk to write with so the kids jumped right in and started writing their names and alphabet.
The Dry Erase Dots are just fun. They add a splash of color to the drab dry erase board, file cabinet or any smooth surface. They are 13″ in diameter and comes in a package of 3 with a dry erase marker. The best part, they are repositionable so they can be moved anywhere. One issue we noted was that the ink came off quite easily when someone rubs up against it. I recommend placing them higher on the wall than we did.
Wall Pops carries a variety of products that can be purchased directly from their website: Wall Pop Art or Amazon.com.
