Have you been to the Queen Mary recently? Remember the gigantic white dome that housed the Spruce Goose? Well, they’ve converted it into a magical Ice Kingdom – CHILL!

Grab a parka (provided) and head on into CHILL, a spectacular gallery of huge ice carvings (very much like the ones at the annual winter festival in Harbin China that draws massive amounts of people). You will see many holiday themed exhibits, including a rather large replica of the Queen Mary. The kids may enjoy the Ice Cave, Santa’s Toyland or the walk-through Fairytale Castle. With spectacular lighting and beautifully colored ice, The Ice Kingdom at CHILL is a winter experience unlike any other.

Open now through January 6th, 2013
If you’re making a day of it at CHILL, they also offer Ice Skating and Ice Tubing:
Ice Skating out doors in Southern California is rare, but it is a majestic experience with the Queen Mary as a beautiful backdrop while gliding around on the Queen Mary’s 6,500 square foot ice rink.
Ice Tubing is the perfect thrill ride for your adventure seekers with a 100 foot long run that is made entirely out of ice. Just grab an over-sized tube and barrel down the slide at lightening speeds.

I tweeted, but can’t get the link on my phone.
Would LOVE to take Billy to this! I haven’t been in snow since I was 2 yrs old…which it’s ironic considering I was born in Big Bear lol…it would be a great opportunity to share with lil’ Billy 🙂
I am trying not to be anonymous, but struggling to leave a comment 🙁
This is Lucia 🙂
I would love to win these tickets for my daughter!
i was in the seventh grade the first time i went to big bear!
my first time on the snow I was probably only a few months old! the drifts were way bigger than me back east!
This looks like so much fun!
25+ years ago! I grew up on the east coast, so I got to see snow occasionally during or after the holidays!
