It all started 6 years ago when I was in a Mom’s group. A friend and I were working on scheduling fun events around Orange County for our Moms group of friends. I began a list of our favorite places to take our toddlers, while looking for an online directory reference of places to take toddlers. As my list grew a friend helped nurture my idea into a blog, and “Toddler Trails” was born.
I didn’t realize what a great resource it turned into for families. Along the way, I’d receive an email here and there of moms who were looking for FREE toddler classes, or moms looking for recommendations of where to take their kiddos – my passion for sharing grew. Eventually I ended up meeting some fellow bloggers and opportunities continued to open them selves up to my family. In the process, in connecting with businesses has enabled me to share amazing giveaways of products as well as experiences.
We have grown so much in so many ways. First, as they all do, my kids grew out of the “toddler stage”. Like everyone says, it really goes so fast. Because of it, I finally came to the decision to let our blog grow up too. As we began to get ultra busy juggling schedules, I realized “Balancing The Chaos” is the stage of reality we are now in.
I don’t think I would have continued this little “hobby” as it started out, as long as I have, if it wasn’t for you, my audience. A special thanks goes to you for getting me out of my comfort zone of being quiet and shy and letting me share our world with you.
