It’s time for another “Date Night”! Are you a fan of the 80’s? I sure am, and I know my husband is!!! Flashdance the musical is set to hit Segerstroms Center For The Arts May 7-19.
If you plan on making a night of it, be sure you head out early! One hour prior to all evening performances, the “Totally Tubular ‘80s Lounge” will be open, and guests can dance and mingle as a DJ plays classic hits from the decade that introduced us to day-glo colors, parachute pants and made leg warmers fashionable.
If you’ve seen the movie, you know you’ve acted out so many of the scenes. There will even be a photo opportunity where you can recreate the iconic “splash scene” from FLASHDANCE – THE MUSICAL: a bucket will dispense streamers instead of water. Challenge your significant other in video games or trivia to celebrate and highlight the ‘80s.
