Well, that wasn’t much of a Winter – seemed like an extended Summer, and now Spring is upon us and the kids are growing like weeds. Therefore, it’s time to update our spring wardrobe at The Children’s Place!
Last week, after school, I surprised the kids with a little shopping trip to The Children’s Place at Westminster Mall to check out the new Spring collection. They were giddy when they realized I was going to let them pick out their own clothes.
First stop – girls section. As usual, the Princess comes first. For girls this Spring, The Children’s Place has gone floral! Bright and beautiful floral prints were scattered everywhere, much to my little one’s delight.
Also dresses, particularly the dressy looks are what you’ll be seeing this Spring. I just loved the two sun dresses above paired with a jean jacket or jean vest – sure wish they came in adult sizes!
We also stopped and took a quick peak at the baby girl section. Yes, makes me want another little princess – neice that is! Some day…… I just adore the baby girl dresses!
And for the boys, there is lots of plaid, layers and sporty looks at The Children’s Place this Spring. My favorite look is the solid short and t-shirt with the plaid over shirt. So classy and fun!
My little man just loves these mix and match sets. They’re great for playing outside, inside, wherever! He really loves any of the t-shirts or tanks with numbers on them. An obsession I guess.
Well, the princess ended up with a variety of looks. Dance shorts and matching top – actually her brother picked out. The lacy white tank and floral shorts – a birthday gift. Butterfly tank was a must because we just love them. New “fashion”, as she calls it, night gown since she has outgrown all of her others. Adorable pink dress and floral skirt with matching blouse to wrap up the day.
For my handsome boy, he found a pair of sandals he just “had” to have. A pair of nylon sport shorts (just so he could match daddy). Two of the nylon sport shirts were musts (again, to match dad). Baseball t-shirt, perfect to wear for Spring baseball season. And finally, a light weight sporty jacket for cool evenings.
I think we ended up with an amazing selection of fun Spring items. Thanks to our friends at The Children’s Place for inviting us to ShopLA Day!
Disclaimer: We were given a complimentary Children’s Place Gift Card during the ShopLA Day Event. All opinions shared are completely my own.
I love shopping at Children’s Place. It has been a while since I have been there, my youngest gets a ton of hand me down clothes so I don’t have to buy him too many things. Which means I can splurge occasionally on the cute stuff.
