We have a saying – many hands make the load light – the more hands the more fun we’ll have,” explains Pastor Don Harbert, of The Way Fellowship. “[Love Buena Park] gives us an opportunity for families and kids to come together and do something good for our community.”

Love Buena Park is spearheaded by Harbert and Police Chief Corey Sianez, in partnership with the city’s local churches, Buena Park Mayor Fred Smith and City Council, local businesses, public and private education and residents working together to enhance the family-friendly experience of living and working in Buena Park. Our mission is to demonstrate kindness, meet needs and impact lives together.

We are anticipating hundreds of people participating in over 30 different projects for less than four hours. Along the way volunteers will help wash police cars, paint houses or school benches, clean streets or parks, and spruce up our neighborhoods all while making new friends! It’s a great project for scout troops, schools or families who understand the value in giving to their community in a tangible way.

The community is encouraged to submit additional projects they want to work on during Love Buena Park. The community knows best when it comes to ways to make Buena Park even better. To submit a project or sign up for an existing one go to LoveBuenaPark.com. Simply click on the Submit A Project link, provide the necessary information, and we will review.

Sponsorships are still available through April 15th – we’d love to recognize you too! Everyone is invited to come out and join the Love Buena Park movement! For more information please visit LoveBuenapark.com or visit buenapark.com.
