It’s summer time and the perfect season to plan family time outdoors.  At Irvine Park Railroad Summer is full of fun and activities for the entire family!

I recall a few years ago we hosted a family reunion at Irvine Park Railroad.  A great location with lots of open space for large or small familes we truly enjoyed ourselves.  Most of the park has large trees that keep most areas shaded, we set up our base picnic area around some picnic tables and an open grassy area.  Family members brought all kinds of treats and snack as well as games.  Football, gloves and baseballs, frisbees and more, it was the perfect day.  I think we even rented Surreys and drove around the park.

Another special memory of Irvine Park Railroad was meeting up with my MOMs Group when my son was a baby. Irvine Park was one of our favorite locations as it was conveniently located for many of our moms.  The best part was getting all the kids together for holiday pot luck events, letting the kids crawl or teeter totter around at the time because they were so little.
