This year, Chill at The Queen Mary is full of fun for the entire family. The grounds next to the Queen Mary have been transformed into a 38,000-square foot Ice Adventure Park – the first of its kind in the United States – with an array of exciting and fun family activities certain to provide chills and thrills for guests of all ages. Lace up your ice skates and take a twirl around the outdoor ice skating rink that overlooks the Queen Mary or race your loved ones down the 145ft Matterhorn Mountain Ice Tubing Slide. Or enjoy the newest edition to Chill at the Queen Mary is the ice bumper cars and tricycles that will have you slipping and sliding on an ice track.
Soar over Chill at the Queen Mary on the Alpine Zip Line zooming up to 34 feet off the ground and over 300 feet long! There’s ice shuffleboard, DJ’s spinning nightly and tons of fun family entertainment for all to enjoy.
As an added bonus – adults can chill out with a cocktail, in our new Ice Bar. You’ll want to suit up in Chill provided parkas and shapkas to experience vodka how it was meant to be enjoyed in the ice cold bar.

A variety of different options are available if you’re looking for a bite to eat. And be sure to stop at the Pub – a spot where we picked up some delicious sliders during Media night.
The kids were super excited to get a chance to ice skate for the first time. For an additional fee, guests are invited to take a spin around the ice with our without their adorable helper companions (cute pandas or penguins).
In previous years, my littles had such a great time, that we’re so excited to attend Chill at the Queen Mary this year. They’re so excited to ice skate, fly down Matterhorn Mountain and check out the new ice bumper cars and trikes.
Tip for ice skating: be sure to bring LONG socks. My princess ended up with a skinned up ankle a few years ago because the skate was rubbing against skin. Sometimes the pain is worth it – she absolutely refused to get off the ice until SHE was ready.
The perfect picture opportunity – having the kids climb up on the giant rocking horse. I recall my hubby getting up there with the kiddos last year. This year they were big enough to do it themselves (they are growing up way to fast!)
This year, International cuisine at the all-new CHILL. Dishes from around the world include German fare with like Twisted Pretzel and Tasting Tavern, the Brat Haus and some quick bites at the Roasted Nuts and Gourmet Pretzel Carts. Pay tribute to the Swiss – known for their cheese and chocolate – both on display at the Zurich Deli, the Fondue Pot and the Chateaur Bar and Alpine Lodge restaurant.
China’s Forbidden City offers a collection of teas and a Chinese Dumplings, And what better way to warm up on a cold Russian night than at our Pierogi Paradise and the Stroganoff and Stew spot. Head over to Holland’s Windmill Way – for breakfast all day with gourmet donuts and pancakes at the Dutch Pantry. Then you’ll want to save room for dessert and a visit to the Bavarian Bakery, our make-your-own Gingerbread houses, the Swiss Chocolate Confectioner or roast marshmallows and make a S’more at our Fire Pit.
For the adults, put the spirit in the Holiday Spirit! Enjoy beers at the Twisted Pretzel & Tasting Tavern, a full bar at the Alpine Lodge, vodka at our Ice Bar, and ‘liquid candy’ at the Candy Bar. Coffee will be served at our Village Coffeehouse.
