Bubblefest XX1 Discovery Cube OC

Bubblefest is one of the many reasons we love visiting Discovery Cube OC. Each year we make it a point to check out Deni Yang’s Mega Bubblefest Laser Show because my kids are mystified by the bubble spectacular. They enjoy getting up close (the kids’ zone on the carpet) to be able to pop as many bubbles they can get their hands on. As a fan of the show too, I really enjoy that this is a family show – meaning Deni and his family of performers have continued to tour and share their bubble story with audiences of all ages.

Bubblefest XX1 Rainbow Bubble

What makes this show a “Must See”? I’m sure you’ve had a container of bubbles with your little one. And the joy opening a jar of bubbles and watching your youngster run around chasing these fantastic rainbow orbs as they float away is priceless. Imagine the delight in their eyes when they see billions of bubbles in what appears to be snow falling before your eyes.

After the show, we wandered downstairs to the Bubblefest Exhibit: “Inside The Bubblezone” located directly below the Julianne Argyros Showcase Theater. One of the most popular features is the Water Spheres where kids of all ages can experience what it would be like to spend time inside a bubble. Check out the fun:

Besides the Water Spheres, there are inflatable obstacle courses, me in a bubble photo opportunity for an additional charge, the cube jr. courtyard, bubble playground and all of your favorite Discovery Cube Orange County exhibits. Additionally, the Eric Carle exhibit features some of Eric Carle’s classic children’s books in life size pages.
