Like most families, we’re always on the go. Unfortunately my first born, Minnie, tends to get left out of many of our activities because she is of the K9 variety. So this year, I decided treat the pup like the princess of the palace this Halloween.
This Halloween, why not treat the pups to their own special delicious snacks? As a valued member of the family, they deserve to join in the festivities. Over the years trick or treating, I’ve seen several pups out with kiddos – time to have something on hand for them too!
This year, we got “Boo”ed – have you heard of it? Basically, it’s a phantom delivery of special treats for the family. We decided to do a little spin, and include the pooch! First stop, Walmart.com to stock up on treats for the goodie bag.
With my pup having food allergies, I’m usually very particular as to treats and snacks I pick for all of the pets in my family. The Big Heart Pet Brands like Milk Bone Dog Biscuits and Pup-Peroni treats have been great rewards for Minnie – so naturally that was the perfect selection for Boo Bag for our K9 friends.
*Tip – Keep your dogs safe by NOT giving them any candy or chocolates!
On a mission to pick up the necessary items to assemble my Boo deliveries, I stopped at Walmart for the Big Heart Pet Treats and the Dollar Tree for the goodie bag. (However, if you plan ahead, save yourself some time and order online at Walmart.com.)
Delivery should take place in the evening when it is dark, and not knowing if they will be home, I decided to separate the treats into ziplock bags – I didn’t want neighborhood animals to think it was a delivery for them. And the most important part – print the directions! Free printables are available at beenbooed.com to make it quick and easy.
You still have time to get in on the action and treat those special pups this Halloween. Visit Walmart.com for tips, tricks and ideas to make your little goblin feel spook-tacular!
