Have you seen it? Have you tried it?  This month, Del Taco introduced TURKEY TACOs!  

Del Taco is the first Mexican Fast Food chain to offer ground turkey as a protein option in their tacos.  Last week, we headed out for “Taco Tuesday” to sample the new Turkey Tacos and were pleasantly surprised!

Currently priced at $1.29, the new Turkey Taco from Del Taco was quite tastey.  The taco features lean seasoned ground turkey that has 33% less fat than their traditional seasoned beef option.  Better yet, the turkey taco has only 150 calories, making it a healtier option when you’re absolutely craving tacos.

The new Turkey Tacos are served in a crunchy corn or warm flour tortilla with grated cheese, lettuce and pico de gallo, made freshly at each Del Taco Location. For a quick lunch or dinner, make it a “Meal” which includes two tacos, tortilla chips & fresh pico de gallo and a drink for $5.

If you’re a fan of the CrunchTada Tostadas, you can also get it in a turkey option.
