Since I’ve started Toddler Trails, I’ve had some fun opportunities for the family. With Disney’s Planes opening tomorrow, we were invited to a pre-screening of the movie in 3D, so The Hubster and I decided to keep this one a secret from the kids.
We had been telling them for a couple of weeks that we had a special event planned. And like typical kids, they kept asking where and when. The day finally came and we still didn’t tell them. When we drove into the parking lot of Edwards Big Newport Movie Theater, they finally figured it out – because they saw a sign (pictured above).
Disney’s Planes will be soaring into theaters this Friday, August 9th, and it will certainly be a fan favorite.
The magic of Disney shines through with an adorable story that shares life lessons like:
- Helping others
- Determination
- Never give up on your dream
This movie will make your heart soar with an adrenaline pumping air race around the world and the will and determination of the underdog. And it isn’t just for the youngest of Disney fans, I found my husband and I laughing at the jokes and really getting into the story line. One of my favorite scenes was when El Chupacabra falls for the beautiful Rochelle and tries to win her heart by serenading her with “Love Machine”.
Handsome Boy is a HUGE fan of Cars and Cars2. After the movie, I asked him his favorite of the three movies – Planes won, hands down.
