Shopping for Spring Fashion with Cookie’s Kids

With Easter quickly approaching and the numerous Easter events going on throughout Orange County (see OC Spring Events), I decided it was time to shop for some spring fashion for the munchkins. Don’t they look adorable in their Easter Outfits?

Have you been to Cookie’s Kids?  It is a website filled with clothing for babies, infants, boys/girls, with many name brands.

Founded by a couple of brothers in 1972,they started off  renting a small store in Jamaica with just toys.  The following season, they added clothing.  As the business expanded, they began to add more products and began to deliver. By the late 1990’s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.

Check out their website!  It’s very user friendly with tabs that roll down to gender and size.  Makes it quite easy to search for exactly what you are looking for.

Now when shopping in general, I try to have an agenda. This time, it was Easter Pictures!!!  Girls, are seriously the easiest to buy for.  Beautiful dresses are EVERYWHERE.  Can you believe, in the past few months, Grandparents have come over for a visit, bearing Easter dresses for my princess.  For my son – well, they just bring him another car or maybe a sweatsuit or two or three.  So, knowing we already have 3 dresses – I was on the hunt for my handsome guy.

#CookiesKidsCookie’s Kids had many great options for boys.  Suits, dress shirts that included ties, pants, you name it.  With a variety of colors and styles, I was sure to find something to match one of the dresses.  When searching, I was able to specify colors, sizes, etc.  And to make sure I had the correct size, they have an online tool called Alva Kids where you can input your child’s measurements and they calculate your child’s size.

My handsome guy ended up with a white shirt and tie set, and some taupe pants to pair with a vest I already had.

I always feel guilty when I buy something for one kid and not the other.  So naturally, I needed to pick up something that my princess would love.  Even a cold rainy day couldn’t keep her out of these cute summer clothes.
